Florida in March

It was such a treat to leave for Florida and Rox and Todd's place a couple of weeks ago.

We travelled to Seattle in the late afternoon and took a young man with us so he could fly out to Tampa the next morning too. It was nice visiting with him until the border. It was a bit of a wonder if they would let him in with a interesting story like we shared but since he had all of his papers and things in order it was not a problem in the end and only had to fill out a form for a travel visa and pay $6.

Our stay at the Hampton was excellent and breakfast was good. After a walk to Angle Lake the rest of the morning past quickly. The flights were good and all was well.

How nice to feel the warm breezes as we drove along with the windows open on the way to T and R's home.

Just out of Chilliwack - what a lovely view for a long time that evening
Colourful shuttle van
Pretty duck and pretty tame too
Canada Geese sent away from the park as they make too big of a mess
The planes kept on flying on up and out
It was fun to find so many signs of spring in Seattle
Glossy holly bush
Frosty flowers in the shade
Tampa airport - We made it!

  1. Love it! I've been missing your posts, so it was great to see these ones. Seattle looks lovely this time of year! Can't wait for your next update!
