May Challenge - Alphabets in Photos - Z
Day 26 - Letter - Z
By accident I found my Z.
I saw this upside down shopping cart over the fire hydrant on the way to my mum and dad's house.
Since it was still there when I returned home, I decided to take a photo.
When I looked on the computer I realized my Z was there.
Hope you can see it too.
I am done my challenge, but will still add a few if I find some really great letters.

I saw many T's all over but when I came to take their photos, I only remembered where a couple of them were.
Here they are.

Day 14 - Letter N and n
This was very hard to find, but here the letters are.
Tell me if you can see them, K.
Then read Ali's stories she writes about the letter of the day. Her link is... http://creativeendeavour.blogspot.com

I saw this perfect N from the road and was able to turn safely and take the picture in the park. |
Small letter n right there on Auntie Beth's wheelchair. Tyler helped me find this one. |
I quite like this n. I found it downtown across from City Hall. You might have to use your imagination for it, but it is there. |
I have been waiting to get this photo. I am thinking it might have been a good h too but it is being placed with the N's = n's today. |

Mother's Day 2012
Bryn, Don and Grampa surprised my mum and me with a lovely picnic.
We used to go on picnics a lot.
We went to Hardy Falls on the way to Penticton, or to Bear Creek Park, to a quiet little park off of Sutherland or on the boat on Kal Lake.
Then the house got quieter and everyone was off to work or school or married and living far away.
It is easier to stay home and eat a hot bowl of soup or a freshly made salad, but....
on Sunday, it was so nice to not know what was up or where we were going.
I am so glad my family knows me well and so it was nothing embarrassing or difficult.
We hopped in the truck, went to my parents house to pick them up, and then off to Springfield Park not very far away at all.
Since the tables all had people eating at them or sitting at them or sported "Reserved" signs on them, Don got out the picnic table Auntie Beth used to have and set it up in the middle of the shade of a big tree in a spot of our own.
Dad and Don put the chairs for us to sit on in the shade or sun - which ever spot people would enjoy more.
Then Don and Bryn put the meal together quickly and neatly and soon we had our special meal.
Many others had the same idea as the park was full of good natured people, all accompanied with a mother or two.
Some sat on home-made "picnic" quilts (I was told). Some brought flowers along with the food.
Gifts were seen sitting on the grass beside picnic baskets.
One brother and sister were throwing and catching a football.
Another little girl and her sister were enjoying McDonalds food tucked under a big yellow and blue umbrella.
We sat and ate and chatted and felt the warm breeze in our faces.
What a lovely time.
Thank you very much.
Love you my family.
